Inleiding

In response to COVID-19 education has undergone a rapid shift from face-to-face teaching to fully online remote teaching. When looking towards a post-pandemic time, teachers are considering how new online practices may be integrated into a blended approach to teaching and learning. However, this is not an easy process. Teachers have to decide what is being taught face-to-face and what can be learned in a digital space, and how these spaces can be mixed in different ways. They would be expected to redesign their programs to support learning in a blended environment. But what exactly is the aim of blended learning?

Inhoud

In this talk, we will explore if something new is happening? Is something different learned through blended learning, where teachers design learning experiences making use of both digital and face to face spaces? During the talk we will discuss the potential of blended learning and what it means for educational practice, what it affords learning and where it might take the field.

Resultaat

Na deze sessie zal je een aantal kapstokken, praktijkvoorbeelden en scenario's meekrijgen over de relatie tussen Blended Learning en de leeromgeving. We bieden een aantal hulpmiddelen om de sterkte van online en face-to-face onderwijs te integreren in een krachtige leeromgeving.
